Current storage

Tip Calculator stores only the consent preference in localStorage unless future advertising or analytics integrations are enabled.

Consent preference

The consent dialog stores the selected preference in localStorage under dumbappsConsent. Users can reopen cookie settings from the footer of the app.

Optional future advertising cookies

Preview placeholders are visible in the app, but live future advertising tags are not required for the static MVP. Before enabling Google AdSense or similar providers, a compliant consent setup and updated provider disclosures are required.

Changing preferences

Open the app and use the Cookie settings button in the footer to change the local consent preference.
